Professor Ji Wang has held the position of Qianjiang Chair Professor of Zhejiang Province at Ningbo University since 2002. From 2013 to 2019, he also served as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in the School of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Ningbo University. He was the founding director of the Piezoelectric Device Laboratory, which is designated as a Key Laboratory by the Municipality of Ningbo. Prior to his academic career, Professor Wang worked as a senior engineer at SaRonix in Menlo Park, CA from 2001 to 2002; as a senior engineer and manager at NetFront Communications in Sunnyvale, CA from 1999 to 2001; and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Epson Palo Alto Laboratory in Palo Alto, CA from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, he has held visiting positions at Chiba University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Argonne National Laboratory. He earned his PhD and Master's degrees from Princeton University in 1996 and 1993 respectively, following his bachelor's degree from Gansu University of Technology in 1983. Professor Wang's research focuses on acoustic waves and high-frequency vibrations within elastic and piezoelectric solids for resonator design and analysis. His work includes nonlinear vibration analysis resulting in several patents registered both in the United States and China. He has authored approximately 250 journal papers and frequently delivers invited talks, keynote addresses, and plenary presentations at major international conferences. He serves on various boards as a member or advisor for leading companies within the acoustic wave device industry. Furthermore, Professor Wang is an active participant on numerous international committees including those associated with IEEE UFFC Technical Program Committees for Frequency Control Symposium& Ultrasonics Symposium; IEEE MTT-S; IEC TC-49; among others. Notably, he is also the founding chair of both CSTAM’s Committee on Mechanics of Electronic & Magnetic Devices as well as SPAWDA. Currently Professor Wang is the Executive Editor of MechanoEngineering. From 2015 to 2020, Professor Wang was appointed editor-in-chief for Structural Longevity while contributing to editorial boards across multiple prestigious international journals.

Lei Hou received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2009, 2011 and 2015, respectively. He won the first "Excellent Doctoral Thesis in Mechanics in China" award in 2017, and was selected into the "Recruitment Plan for Young Top Talents in Harbin Institute of Technology" in 2017 and 2020, and was promoted to associate professor and professor. He engaged in the research on nonlinear dynamics and vibration control, presided over more than 20 scientific research projects such as National Key Research and Development Program,National Natural Science Foundation of China (distinguished young scholars,general, young scholars), published more than 120 journal papers, more than 1800 other citations, authorized and accepted 10 national invention patents, and registered 3 software copyrights, He won second prize of Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Some of the research results have been applied to the actual project, resulting in economic benefits of more than 120 million yuan.

Scarlet Montilla is a distinguished Structural Engineer and Researcher specializing in advanced steel structures, finite element, reliability, retrofitting, innovative construction systems and structural design (buildings, bridges, and offshore structures) in concrete, steel, and timber. With 16 years of combined industry and academic experience, Scarlet has led 33 independent structural calculation projects and contributed to 4 landmark construction projects, including the Mukumbarí Cable Car System (Venezuela), the highest cable car in the world. She has taught Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Energy Engineering at universities across Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay, Spain, and China. Her scholarly contributions include 15 journal papers, 3 books, and 2 book chapters. She is co-author of 8 open-source computer software programs for finite element and stochastic analysis of structures.Currently, her research focuses on computational mechanics and Lumped Damage Mechanics (LDM) theory applied to high-performance steel structures under extreme loads (corrosion, wind, earthquake), a contribution that earned her the 2024 First Prize in Science and Technology Progress from the China Steel Structure Association.

Somaye Mohammadi has been an assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Sharif University of Technology since February 2023. She earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. She completed a seven-month postdoctoral fellowship at Sharif University of Technology's Mechanical Engineering Department from June 2022 to January 2023. Her research interests include condition monitoring, vibration and acoustic analysis, industrial gearboxes, and machine learning. She has contributed to approximately five industrial projects focused on intelligent fault diagnosis, remaining useful life prediction, root cause failure analysis, vibration analysis, and modal analysis. Mohammadi has published about 13 journal papers and presented 31 conference papers. She serves on the board of directors for the Iranian Society of Acoustic and Vibration (ISAV) and the Iranian Society of Engineering Education (ISEE). From 2023 to 2025, she was the executive secretary of the Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis (CMFD) Conference. Since November 2023, she has been the Director of Public Relations for the Mechanical Engineering Department at Sharif University of Technology and also acts as the deputy of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Center in the same department.

Dr. Onder Turan received his BSc., MSc. and Ph.D in 1998, 2000 and 2007 respectively from Anadolu University. He became an Associate Professor of Anadolu University in 2013. He has published more than 60 journal papers or conference papers in the above fields. He has served as a member of technical and scientific committee, panel session chair, reviewer and editor for numerous international conferences and prestigious scientific journals

Dr. Nurin Wahidah Mohd Zulkifli is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Malaya. She specializes in tribology, with a particular focus on combustion and fuel engineering. Her research contributions include over 100 published articles, which have garnered significant academic recognition, including thousands of citations and a high H-index. In 2020, Dr. Nurin was acknowledged among the top 2% of researchers globally for highly cited documents in engineering. She has supervised numerous postgraduate students from diverse international backgrounds and has successfully led various research projects funded by internal and external grants. Dr. Nurin is actively engaged in collaborative research with both industrial partners, such as PROTON and PETRONAS Research, and academic institutions worldwide, including those in the UK and Saudi Arabia. Her work continues to advance the fields of mechanical engineering and sustainable energy technologies.

Prof Ir Dr Hwai Chyuan Ong Currently serves as a Distinguished Professor at Department of Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia, and as an Adjunct Professor at Faculty of Engineering & IT, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. His research interests are energy & fuel, biomass energy, renewable energy, circular economy and waste management. He has successfully secured and completed several grants as a principal investigator from government, industry, and private entities both nationally and internationally. He is recognized as World's Top 2% Scientists and Highly Cited Researcher (Engineering) by Clarivate Analytics from 2019 to 2022. He was also named Australia’s top early career researcher in sustainable energy in 2021. Currently, he is serves as Associate Editor of Alexandria Engineering Journal, e-Prime and Carbon Research
